Pennzoil, “Travel On” Pitch

“Travel On” was a new summer promotion to get more drivers to choose Pennzoil at their next oil change. It was going to be run during the summer so we wanted to really play off of the tradition of a summer road trip. The goal was to encourage people to get their oil changed by helping them plan a road trip anywhere in North America. We wanted to use as many touch points as possible on this campaign including interactive social media interaction, trivia game sweepstakes, as well as display presence in certified installer locations.

I created the promotional illustration for the campaign along with various in store display collateral where it was also used. I led the concept development for a series of short YouTube videos where we would highlight local auto shop workers and their craft a la “Chef’s Table” as well as the promotional sweepstakes game “Travel On Trivia” for US and Canada. By successfully identifying famous landmarks you could win even more!
